UK-focused hosting and infrastructure

Corporate information

Shared resources used responsibly

The word “unlimited” on SSH THREE and other eligible shared features means there is no fixed routine quota for normal website use; it does not mean infinite capacity or permission to use a shared service as bulk storage, a public file mirror or a substitute for dedicated infrastructure.

01

Normal business use

Unlimited plan wording is intended for genuine hosted websites and mailboxes, not unbounded storage or compute consumption.

02

Protect shared capacity

Sustained activity that materially affects other customers may require optimisation or migration.

03

Discuss before restricting

Where practical, BLCS Global will explain the concern and recommend a proportionate route forward.

01 / Corporate information

What fair use means on shared infrastructure

SSH THREE includes unlimited websites, mailboxes, databases, storage and bandwidth subject to fair use. “Unlimited” means there is no simple fixed retail quota for ordinary website hosting; it does not create a right to consume unlimited physical capacity or use the account as a general-purpose backup, file-distribution or compute platform.

  • Content should relate to active websites, applications and mailboxes hosted on the account
  • Large archives, personal backups and unrelated bulk file storage are not normal shared-hosting use
  • Sustained CPU, memory, process, database or I/O pressure may require technical review
  • High-volume mail, automated traffic and unusually large transfer patterns may require a specialist service

02 / Corporate information

How excessive use is handled

Fair-use review considers duration, impact, workload type and whether the activity matches the service purchased. A short legitimate traffic peak is different from a continually resource-intensive application. The preferred outcome is optimisation or migration to a platform designed for the workload.

  • BLCS Global may request information needed to understand the workload
  • A reasonable correction or migration window may be offered where risk allows
  • Urgent limits may be applied if activity threatens platform stability or security
  • VPS, dedicated and cloud options are available when a workload needs reserved capacity

Frequently asked questions

These answers explain the public policy at a practical level. Account-specific matters should use the secure Client Area.

Is there a hidden fixed storage cap on SSH THREE?

The plan is not marketed with a simple fixed storage quota, but it remains a shared service governed by genuine website use, available platform capacity and the fair-use principles on this page.

Will one busy day automatically breach fair use?

No. Reviews consider pattern, duration and impact. A temporary campaign spike is not treated the same as a permanently resource-intensive application.

What if my project legitimately needs much more capacity?

BLCS Global can assess a VPS, dedicated server, storage server or cloud design that provides a clearer resource boundary for the workload.
